I am not poking at the communist govt, but I am wondering why high court issued such a verdict favouring the soft drink giant? Is it because there is not enough laws on environmental protection? how can our judiciary ignore the problems of the people in an entire panchayat ? that too violating the terms in panchayatraj act ? This is a serious situation.

It is really dissappointing that none of the major political parties have come forward to support the locals in perumatty panchayat.

I have heard so many Nayanar speeches and his phone-the-Chief Minister program. He thrives on making funny comments. Now when I look back and ask what is his legacy, there is nothing to point to.

It is not correct to blame Communists in this case.
Employment generation is very important for any Government. If some Company like Coco Cola is mis-using ground water such that people in that area are denied their basic Right, we can always re-consider the earlier permission given any government.

Only Fools will blame Government. Here the same Communists who were in power are ready to join their hands with the people. Infact, they are in the forefront.

I don’t know why this idiot is calling Nayanar a comedian. Nayanar was far better leader than any of the Congies and Sanghies.
