<description>I recently came across an article by a Dr Issac, Prof of History at MG Univ in Kottayam.

The article talked at length about historiographical attempts by certain religious groups to prve their antiquity in Kerala. It suggests that many places of worship may have been destroyed in the past centuries in this attempt.

As someone who is secular at heart, I was intrigued by this piece. The article may be reached through a simple Google search. Has anyone come across auhentic accounts on this matter? Would any one care to comment on the historical tenability of the claims in this article?

		<description>Ravages,

Vizinjam is on the coast of Arabian Sea and not the other two. As mentioned in the article, it could be hyperbole, or even it could be Wietzel&#039;s ponds :)
