The anti-war crowd has some explaining to do
I want to rub it in the anti-war crowd's face so badly. I want to hear the protesters explain why it's a bad thing we released more than 100 children from an Iraqi gulag for underage political prisoners. I want them to talk about how they were fighting for the Iraqi people as the Iraqi people hug and kiss the American forces in Baghdad and greet the human shields with signs reading "Go Home You Wankers." I want them to explain why it wasn't worth it.

And here is what another person who now stands for peace says:
The prison in question is at the General Security Services headquarters, which was inspected by my team in Jan. 1998. It appeared to be a prison for children ? toddlers up to pre-adolescents ? whose only crime was to be the offspring of those who have spoken out politically against the regime of Saddam Hussein. It was a horrific scene. Actually I'm not going to describe what I saw there because what I saw was so horrible that it can be used by those who would want to promote war with Iraq, and right now I'm waging peace.

So what if some children died who could have been saved. It was all for "peace". Let's light more candles.

You are absolutely right, JK. That is what is so baffling about most anti-war arguments. They claim that "containment" of Saddam works. But containment involves sanctions, which affect only the Iraqi civilians, not the leaders.
And then they say wait till inspections finish, wait till UN approves...blah, blah, blah - sometimes I wonder why are they so much more interested in keeping the staus quo than making a bold move and doing something good and different for a change. "lathon ke bhoot baatonse nahin maante" - that is how I look at Saddam and other dictators like him.

So you changed labels. Now antiwar means not Saddam lovers but anti America. Are you always this humane & proamerica or only by watching the continuous images of suffering people on news channels rises it to this peak levels?
If American government really care about Iraqi people condition, why didn't they remove him from power in first gulf war when they had ample opportunity to do it, even the whole world was behind them at that time. Why this sudden rise of consciousness about Iraqi people suffering? Are you sure that great America will not create another Saddam to rule Iraq. oops anti American comments again.

Wrong again. I don't hate America. Only 'we don't give a damn about innocent people's death caused by our war because we, with our mighty militaty powers can't take out Sadddam with a single shot', attitude of this administration.
