The bones have been authenticated by archaeologists.
Did not know that they had discovered Buddha’s bones.

Hm.. I wonder how archaeologists could have authenticated the bones. Forensic scientists – yes, but archeologists?
Srijith, In India there is a lab in Lucknow I think, which does the carbon dating related stuff. I remember reading about it during the Gulf of Cambay excavations.
Ah, so there is a lab still involved. I thought the archaelogists alone dated the remains, which was suspicious 🙂
